QM for merchandise

We buy all our merchandise from reliable suppliers of many years’ standing. In order to build new relationships with suppliers, our colleagues visit new companies and production sites and spend time in the field implementing our quality standards to be observed. In addition, we organize sample consignments to make sure that basic conditions are met and agreed specifications are complied with.

Furthermore, it has become a routine for us to visit regularly our suppliers and to spot-check consignments on site. Staff members at the different locations assist us with this.

Our optimized quality management includes supplier audits and voluntary disclosures. Equally important to us is the compliance with the traceability parameters of all consignments.

Every shipment is documented and furnished with bar code labels specifying all the important information. Traceability according to EAN 128 enables us to track the route of our goods at all times.
